Ayushkeralam.org Inaugurated and Launched by Shri. Oommen Chandi

                 Www.ayushkeralam.org was inaugurated and launched on 25th March 2012 by the Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala Shri. Oommen Chandi midst various dignitaries and a jam packed & house full auditorium of Ayush Homoeo Medical Officers at CRIH, Kottayam. 

                  It was a memorable event for all of us when the soft "ENTER" button was pressed down by CM and a whole new approach of Ayush Keralam was made visible to the world.

               Hon'ble MLA, CRIH Asst director, ANSSHMC principal and other eminent personalities honored the dice with shri. Oommen Chandi. 

                   A scientific seminar on Research & Methodology, Psychiatric ailments and its Homoeopathic Management was also handled by the faculties from CRIH. 

                   A well organised state level seminar and Inaugural function was made possible by the organising committee of Kottayam district. Hats off to there wonderful management skills. 

                 Now that the platform is set, its time for every Ayush Homoeo Medical Officer to prove that the time and energy we spent for this ordeal was never in vain, by entering daily performance data and displaying our therapeutical skills through this window. Ayushkeralam Website Inauguration & One Day Seminar

Come this March 25th and we will have our website www.ayushkeralam.org inaugurated and start functioning.

Sri.K.C.Venugopal(Hon. Minister), will do the "Click and Launch" of the website, making ayushkeralam.org the First website in India to deliver Daily Performance data, Dispensary details, Stock balance, Epidemic & Communicable disease reporting etc of all the AYUSH (NRHM) Homoeo Dispensaries in Kerala, on a single click.

CRIH Changanassery, will be the venue for this mega event along with a One Day Scientific Seminar where eminent faculties will show us "How to tackle the deranged Human Mind - through Homoeopathy".

Hopefully this occasion will be a milestone in the development of Homoeopathy as Ministry of Health & FW, AYUSH, CRIH & AKHMOA coming together for this maiden venture.

The only way to show the 'Might' of AKHMOA is by making a large gathering present on that social affair.

It is therefore requested that each one of us representing AKHMOA should be present there for witnessing this great motive.

In - service training for AYUSH (NRHM) Medical Officers

                       A state level in-service training for all medical officers working in Ayush NRHM hospitals and dispensaries is scheduled from 12th - 23rd March 2012.

Letter regarding the same was released from the SHSRC Office : -

                             

                         The schedule for the above program is charted according to district wise dispensaries and hospitals of all Ayush disciplines. Scheduled date for Kollam district MO's is on 16th March 2012.

                         Venue is the same as last year, SHSRC building, Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram.

                         Time : 9.30 AM

                               This kind of training is actually an occasion for having our issues discussed with the authorities and getting actual fact about the different rumors and doubts like Ayush funding, project submission, salary amendments, document forwarding etc. 

                               It would also be a chance to get in touch with MO's of neighboring districts and renew our friendship and co-operation.  

                               Hope this in - service training will be beneficial and encouraging as usual like the previous years. See you all there.

          Few words of gratitude from Kollam Ayush Homoeo Medical Officers towards those who tried for the salary amendment and made it happen.

          Kollam MO’s received their revised salary on 15^th Feb 2012, but the much sought after arrears are yet to be credited in our accounts.

          We are thankful to H&FW GoK, State Mission Office and Dept of Homoeopathy for this long waited demand.

          A special thanks to Dr. Rejikumar Consultant (AYUSH Integration) SHSRC, would not be inequitable here.

           We anticipate similar token of appreciation from our higher authorities in the near future also.

Upcoming Homoeopathic Seminars in Kerala

Homoeopathic seminars are juncture when all Homoeopaths, Students and Interns get an opportunity of benefit from the immense knowledge shared by the eminent faculties within a short extent of time.

That does why we all wait fervently for such scientific seminars to be held and get ourselves enroll for the same at the earliest.

Indeed a couple of seminars are enqueue in the coming months from now. This post is to make you aware of them if not already, else could be considered as a reminder.

IHMA has always been a forerunner when coming to conducting seminars and CME’s on a regular interval.

AKHMOA Executive Committee Meeting

AKHMOA executive committee meeting was held on the 15^th of January 2012 at K.K International Hotel, Ernakulam. Executive members and web coordinators from all districts were present for the same. Meeting was presided over by the chairman Dr. Sreekanth PS.

 Main issues discussed and put forward for committee approval were

• Discussion on the design, content, feasibility and launching of the new website for AKHMOA, “Ayushkeralam.org”.
• Amendment in the bylaw of our association and its approval.
• Regarding patron ship and other issues with website launch.
• OP registration number renewal regarding.
• Future programs of AKHMOA.

Homoeopathy for Healthy Mother and Happy Child

Advanced Training Programme for Homoeopathic Doctors in dealing with all conditions related to mother and child care was held from 2012 January 10th - 12th at KTDC Hotel "Tamarind", Kollam.

This district level program was a sequel to State level program conducted in 2010 at Thiruvananthapuram.

Homoeopathy for Healthy Mother and Happy Child is an initiative by Central Council of Homoeopathy [CCRH], with financial assistance from World Health Organisation [WHO] for imparting the scope of Homoeopathy in dealing with the problems pertaining to Obstetrics, Neonatology and Pediatrics to Homoeopaths.
